Spent the day Saturday with Fred first playing tennis, then heading up to Harvard, MA, to pick a peck of apples at Doe's Orchard. Actually, Fred picked two pecks, and I just one (a total of ¾ of a bushel). A great way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon, and you get eat as many apples as you can stomach while you wonder through the orchard finding just the right apples for your trip home.

Anyone have a good recipe for apple crisp?
