January 2002, I asked for people to send me a list of things that they loved. The directions were simple:
1. I would like for everyone to put together a list of ten (or more, if you feel adventurous, or less if you feel overwhelmed) things that you love. To make me very happy, you should keep the items short (one or two words is ideal). Youll understand this constraint later, but for now trust me that short is sweet. 2. Email me your list of things that you love. Hooray, wasnt that fun and easy!!! 3. I will take the items that you sent and put together a web page with your I LOVEs (if you give me permission to do so). To make this web page more interesting, you could send me a digital photograph of yourself. Now, doesnt that sound fun and easy!!! As soon as this page is up and running, I will send you the URL. Most likely it will be hanging somewhere around the jaysharp.com site. 4. There will be a printed component to this project. I dont have all the details yet, but I hope to have something sent to all of the participants of the project before Valentines day. You will love it. Love. To help me meet this deadline, send me your postal address so that I have that ready to go (and I can update my database later). |

The feedback was beautiful. Honest. Inspiring. A mix of ordinary and extraordinary. Take a look for yourself (listed in the order received)...
